April 9: 11:00 am, Palm Sunday Festival and St. Matthew’s Passion
We bless the palm branches and celebrate the Triumphal Entry, and we follow that with our annual readers’ theater presentation of the whole Passion of Christ.
Theatre Group Dzieci presents A Passion, a dramatic choral liturgy for Holy Week, on Maundy Thursday
April 13: 7:00 pm, Maundy Thursday – “A Passion” by Theatre Group Dzieci
Theatre Group Dzieci has refined their text from the earliest existing translations, relying heavily on the Aramaic Peshita, incorporating Hebraic song and chant, and ritual elements of Judaism, and sets their piece in the shadow of the Warsaw Ghetto.
April 14: 7:00 pm, Good Friday, St. John’s Bluegrass Passion.
Our annual Union Service with Greenwood Baptist and Resurrection churches. Michael Daves and Jen Larson lead the classic gospel music as we celebrate the Passion story.
April 15: 7:00 pm, Easter Vigil Union Service, at All Saints Episcopal
With Resurrection church, in Darkness and Light, celebrate the First Service of Easter with Readings, Music, Baptisms, Confirmations, and Holy Communion (at 286 7th Ave.)
April 16: 11:00 am, Easter Festival Worship Service
