We care, and share, the gifts we have been given through our Reformed Church, including our sanctuary and building.

Gift of Music

Music is one of the gifts of Old First. From all manner of classical to country gospel, professional musicians share their talent performing during services for worship along with a wide range of soloists, instrumentalists, ensembles, and our children's choir. And we are blessed with a wonderful, original pipe organ, a restored grand piano, and a world renowned organist, Aleeza Meir, who plays both of these instruments every Sunday.

The interior of the sanctuary is well known for the Arts and Crafts decor in stenciling, paint and furniture. The building itself stands as a cathedral, a commanding presence on the skyline of this city.

Art and Stained Glass

Our stained glass is a wonderful collection of 19th century art and workmanship from the period's outstanding designers and studios; some of the finest examples in New York are here. Our Tojetti mural is valued as one of his finest religious works.
