Education

Education is a core mission at Old First. We offer Sunday School classes during the school year where children and youth explore the Bible and deepen their connection to God. We offer a variety of adult classes and programs throughout the year.

Adult Classes

Our adult classes meet at various times throughout the year and include Bible studies, reading groups, small groups, and themed classes.

Children’s Sunday School

Our Sunday School classes meet each Sunday morning from September to May. Children, youth, and  parents are invited to Rally Day in September to register and attend the first class session. Old First has separate classes for each age group.

Godly Play (Pre-K and Kindergarten)
Montessori-style Bible study, worship, and prayer time, which creates peace and safety for creativity, self-esteem, and the natural spirituality of children

Beulah Land (Primary)  
Features flannel-graph Bible stories with art, memory work, and prayer

Learning the Stories (Middle School)  
Includes Bible reading and discussion with history, lifestyle, and culture lessons

Faith Questions (High School)
Discusses theology, ethics, and belief
Confirmation is offered for children ages 11 – 13.
