Adult Education Opportunities Coming This Fall
Have you completed our survey inquiring of your interest in adult education activities? With your input, we plan to roll out an enriching and informative program starting in September. Administrator Fabiola Gaerlan says that response has been enthusiastic, and we hope to have a definite game plan in place by June. The goal: to strengthen and expand adult education opportunities for our congregation. This does not necessarily include outreach to the community at large (although everybody, of course, is always welcome). With our billboard facing Seventh Avenue, and the incredible foot traffic in front of the church, the word will get around quite easily. Of course, Bible study will be a staple, but we also want to know what other adult education interests you may have: perhaps a history of the Reform Church, the implications of the Resurrection, or how to pray/practice regular prayer. Other possible classes could include ways to serve the Lord and your community. Fabiola adds that adult education can include regular weekly classes as well as special, one-time events, such as seminars and lectures with theologians, missionaries, or outreach professionals. If you haven’t yet completed our survey, speak to Fabiola or Pastor Meeting after services on Sunday.
