Old First is proud to be rostered as an official “Welcoming and Affirming” congregation with Room For All. Room For All is a non-profit network of supporting members, clergy and congregations engaged in a cooperative effort to support LGBTQ people and allies across the Reformed Church in America, educate about issues of sexuality and gender in relation to Christian life, and advocate for a radically inclusive welcome and affirmation of the full spectrum of God’s people in all aspects of our congregational and denominational ministries. Old First supports Room For All’s mission to support, educate, and advocate for the welcome and full affirmation of people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions in the Reformed Church in America.
