This is of course not the first time that Old First has hosted a relief kitchen.  In the months following Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Old First hosted the Hurricane Sandy Relief Kitchen (HSRK) — a grassroots volunteer effort that donated, prepared, and delivered more than 200,000 meals and goods to those most affected by the storm in Far Rockaway and Coney Island.
